5thmich_300This picture was provided by Todd Brickley. Todd is a collector of material from the 110th Pennsylvania Infantry Regiment. Knowing that the 5th Michigan was part of the "Red Diamond" Brigade with the 110th, he jumped at the chance to purchase an original CDV with handwritten text on the back: "5th Michigan Infantry - USA - 1865." Also of note, is the frock coat of the standing individual. The piping suggests a musician. Click on the picture for a closer look. Thanks Todd!
